Madison Photographer Christi Kraft To Judge International Art Contests

Madison fine art photographer Christi Kraft has been selected as a juror for 1stAngel Arts Magazine's international art contests in 2012.

Held every two months, the competitions are comprised of three categories: paintings, photography, and altered/digital images. Submissions will be judged on originality, craftsmanship, composition, elements of art, unity and variety, and overall aesthetics. The art theme for February is landscapes.

Christi Kraft Named Contributing Photographer By Foundation For Photo Art In Hospitals

Madison-based fine art photographer Christi Kraft has been selected as a Contributing Photographer for The Foundation for Photo/Art in Hospitals. Her landscape piece, �Shadows of Waimea Canyon,� photographed on location in Kauai, Hawaii, will be placed in hospitals and medical care facilities around the world.

The unique mission of the Foundation is to place large, framed photographs of nature and beautiful places from around the world in hospitals to give comfort and hope to patients and their families, visitors, and caregivers.

�I am very proud and honored to contribute to such an important and worthy organization,� Kraft said. �I hope that my art will bring some measure of comfort and peace to those who view it.�
